PowerWill gives insight into gang life by introducing his involvement from a very young age. His involvement stems from his longing for community from the basis of being bullied and family issues. Will gives an emotional insight to various depictions and personal endeavors of gang culture. Even though Will would not repeat the action of gang involvement, he notes various benefits of power.

BrotherhoodQuon decided to join a gang when he was young. That decision came from his desire to feel a sense of belonging to a group of people where he can feel brotherhood and friendship after enduring the bad social and economic conditions during childhood. Seeing the youth being gang members increased his interest to make his dream real. Since joining his group, he has never regretted issues that happened among his members. He felt, instead, his friends showing respect and dealing as everyone would die and fight for each other and the way like you are not here in this alone.

However, after learning about his Haitian heritage and culture, he joined a gang after high school with the intention of attempting to gain power to change his community for the better. Greek View By asking an active member of a sorority at Indiana University similar questions to which we asked gang members we are able to more personally juxtapose the drastically difference in the way each group is viewed. Portrayed through the way new members of geek life our met with congratulations while gangs are criminalized.
